In this workshop, you will be introduced to therapeutic journal writing techniques and process art activities to help you reduce stress and gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. We know the relaxed, upbeat atmosphere will inspire you to crack open your journal and dive in! Throughout the workshop, we will meditate and do restorative yoga postures so you can keep your energy and creative juices flowing.

In this 6-week workshop series, you will dive deep into therapeutic journal writing techniques and process art activities to help you reduce stress and gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. We know the relaxed, upbeat atmosphere will inspire you to crack open your journal and show up for yourself over this 6-week period! During each session, we will meditate and do restorative yoga postures so you can keep your energy and creative juices flowing.

(This 6-week series includes 6 individual, weekly workshops that dive deeper into Journal Writing and Process Art. If you would like more of an introduction to this type of workshop, before you commit to 6-weeks, I recommend you join the Intro Workshop to try it out. But if you are looking to develop healthy, sustainable habits and create long-lasting mindset shifts this is the workshop series for you!)

3Yoga for Women’s Empowerment

Between the day-to-day stress in our lives and the tempestuous times we’re witnessing in our world today, many of us are feeling overwhelmed. Discouraged. Hopeless. Unable to handle or process the continual stresses in our lives. 

But that can change. 

Not by running away to small Mediterranean island (although that sounds wonderful sometimes, doesn’t it?) but by changing how WE react to the stress and the negative media messages we receive on a daily basis. 

And that’s where THIS yoga class comes into the picture. 

Wait…YOGA??

Yes, yoga. Because yoga is more than just meditation and downward-facing dog. It goes deeper than that! 

Yoga can help you cultivate more confidence, positivity and self-love. 

Yoga can help you work through trauma and feelings of anxiety or depression.

Yoga can help you feel more grounded, hopeful, empowered and energized. 

It’s true! And yoga instructor, energy healer and retired teacher Chris O’Connor will guide you through specific poses and sequences that will help you cultivate a stronger sense of empowerment within yourself. 

After each class you’ll feel more at ease in your body, you’ll feel empowered to make positive changes in your life (and the outside world!) and you’ll appreciate the sense of community that develops when surrounded by like-minded souls.

4Yoga and the Chakra System

We are all made up of energy. In fact, every living being is made up of energy!

As humans, we have 7 major Chakras, or energy centers, in our body. They all have a unique color and vibration and can support us in different ways.

But when the energy flowing through our Chakras becomes blocked or stagnant, we begin to feel some negative effects.

These “effects” can show up as anxiety, stress, physical pain, mental strain, a lack of energy, and much more.

That is why it is SO important to learn how to open and balance the Chakras in our body. By practicing breath work, meditation and specific yoga poses, we can enliven these energy hubs and keep our oh-so-important Chakra energy flowing freely!

In this yoga class, we will dive into self-care for better physical, mental and spiritual well-being. We will also learn energy healing, meditation and specific yoga postures for a home practice (because putting these teachings into practice on a daily basis is the key to feeling better!)

So if you’re feeling like you want to hit the “reset” button on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, this class is for you!
